Student Feedback

At Royal Pacific Institute, we are proud to foster a learning environment that is both academically rigorous and personally supportive.

We believe that the voices of our students reflect the true quality and impact of our programs.

Here, we share a selection of student feedback that speaks to their learning experiences, personal growth, and career readiness.

Whether they are local or international, our students consistently highlight the dedication of our instructors, the value of practical training, and the sense of community they’ve found at our school.

“Royal Pacific’s administrative support has been a refreshing experience. From helping me navigate the study visa process to providing quick and reliable support during my studies, the team has been incredibly helpful.
The learning environment is friendly and relaxed, yet well-structured and clear. Some first-year subjects can feel overwhelming at first if you’re new to TCM, but with the guidance of supportive instructors and a well-balanced curriculum, everything gradually starts to make sense. I truly love it here.”

James Dimitre Groshon – First-Year International Student (United States), Acupuncture Program

“Studying traditional Chinese medicine in both Chinese and English has allowed me to develop a much deeper understanding of core concepts while also strengthening my ability to communicate across cultural contexts.
Throughout my learning journey, I’ve come to appreciate the wisdom of those around me—whether classmates, instructors, or even patients. Every person offers a unique perspective, and every interaction can become a source of insight. TCM’s holistic and individualized approach reflects this beautifully: just as no two treatments are the same, no two learning moments are either.
One of the most meaningful experiences for me this semester was a course that not only expanded my knowledge of TCM but also enhanced my logical thinking and gave me new ways of approaching this field. The instructor’s clarity, deep comparisons between herbs, and engaging lectures opened up new dimensions for me, both academically and clinically.
This experience reminded me of the saying: ‘To walk with the wise is to become wise.’ I feel truly fortunate to be part of this community and look forward to continuing this journey.“

Hong Xu – Fourth-Year International Student (China), TCM Program

“As a mother accompanying my child while studying in Canada, I’m incredibly thankful to have found a program like this. The option to study in Chinese has made a world of difference for me—it allows me to pursue a structured, professional education in TCM while sharing this meaningful journey of growth with my child.
What truly stands out is the quality of teaching. The instructors bring a wealth of clinical knowledge to the classroom through vivid case studies and hands-on practices. Classes are dynamic, practical, and full of insight—I look forward to every lesson.”

Li Zhang – Second-Year International Student (China), TCM Program

“The acupuncture course has been the most inspiring part of my studies so far. What made it stand out was the way the instructor brought complex theories to life—clear, approachable, and deeply engaging. We didn’t just memorize meridians and acupuncture points; we learned to locate them on our own bodies and observe live demonstrations right in the classroom, which made everything feel tangible and real.
I especially appreciated the consistent repetition and hands-on practice of key techniques, which really helped me build confidence and retain what I learned. Beyond the technical skills, the course also introduced fundamental TCM philosophies and diagnostic approaches, as well as ways to apply them in everyday life for personal well-being.
The instructor’s sense of humor and use of real clinical stories made the class both educational and memorable—learning felt natural, and even fun.”
