Admission Requirements
- Applicants must be at least 19 years of age.
- Applicants must have successfully completed high school education or equivalent.
- There is no English language requirement for admission, as instruction is available in both English and Chinese.
Students may choose to study in either the English or Chinese program streams.
Important Note:
While English proficiency is not required for admission, students planning to apply for professional licensing in British Columbia must meet the academic requirements set by the College of Complementary Health Professionals of British Columbia (CCHPBC).
Specifically, applicants must have completed at least two years of recognized post-secondary education at an accredited institution prior to applying for licensing registration.
If you intend to seek licensure after graduation, please plan your academic pathway accordingly.
Application Steps
Step 1: Complete the Online Application Form
Fill out the online application form available on our website. Please ensure that all required fields are completed accurately.
Step 2: Pay the Application Fee
Submit the non-refundable application fee online as part of the application process.
Step 3: Email Required Documents
Send the following supporting documents to our admissions office at admin@oshio.ca:
- Copy of passport (photo page)
- Academic transcripts and certificates (with official English translation if applicable)
- Proof of English proficiency (only if applying for English stream and unsure about academic readiness)
- Any other supporting documents requested
Step 4: Application Review
Our admissions team will review your application and submitted materials.
If your application meets the admission requirements, you will receive an official Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from Royal Pacific Institute.
