Program Overview
The Refresher Training Program at Royal Pacific Institute is designed to meet the needs of two groups of students:
- Licensed Practitioners (R.Ac., R.TCM.P, R.TCM.H, Dr.TCM): To fulfill the Continuing Competency Requirements (CCR) mandated by the College of Complementary Health Professionals of British Columbia (CCHPBC), licensed practitioners must complete professional development activities on a regular basis. Specifically, CCHPBC requires registrants to complete at least 50 hours of continuing education every two years to maintain active registration.
- Prospective Examinees: Individuals who have graduated from a TCM or acupuncture program more than three years ago and wish to challenge the Pan-Canadian Examinations must complete refresh training courses to ensure their knowledge and skills remain current.
The program offers flexible scheduling and course selection based on individual academic and professional needs. Students can choose the courses they require to meet the regulatory or examination readiness standards.
